Here are two photos of a parquet floor renovation I did at our daughter's apartment.
The floors were originally laid in 1950 and they were in terrible shape. There was no way to get them flat. Nonetheless it was a big improvement.
I treated the freshly sanded parquets with a quick-drying oil specially formulated for parquet floors. Actually, in one room I used an oil-wax mixture and in the other room I used Carl's 90 Flooring Oil.
